Fell in love with the dissonant but unified chorus in this perfect Coldplay song and decided to try my best to cover it. Learned a lot about playing guitar in the process and engineering wise: about EQ, non-musical sound fx, and timing - I didn't set a tempo for this; just sort of played it as I felt it.
lyrics
Did I drive you away?
I know what you'll say
You'll say
'Oh, sing one we know'
But I promise you this:
I'll always look out for you
Yeah, that's what I'll do
I say 'oh'
Cryin' 'oh'
I saw sparks
My heart is yours
It's you that I hold on to
Yeah, that's what I do
And I know I was wrong
But I won't let you down
No; yes, I will; yes, I will...
Yes, I will now
